# Setting a Monitor channel

In order to set a channel you need to copy the store name from [sitelist ](/monitoring-commands/show-all-of-your-available-sites.md)and mention the channel you want the pings from the corresponding stores go to

```
$monitor addchannel amazon #amazon
```
